The Beauty Of The Aston Martin
Newport Pagnell in the UK is the place where the famous Aston Martin Vanquish was made. It was in 2001 when it was released as a Grand Tourer car. For a hand-crafted car, Vanquish is the last of the line. For forty nine years, Aston Martin were making automobiles with expert workers. It took the workers 8 hours a day for forty eight days to construct the car.
This car was made in Newport Pagnell, United Kingdom and was called the Grand Tourer in its release in 2001. It is also the last series of Aston Martin's hand-crafted vehicles. Aston Martin worked for 49 years in the industry with some skilled workers. When it comes to the design of the Vanquish, they spent 48 days, each with 8 hours, to come up with its design. Because of this, the car came up with great bodywork and delicate interior.
There were also other issues about Vanquish aside from its engine. The handling of the vehicle and its paddle shift manual gearbox are the focuses of some of these issues. These were still mainly about the originality of these two aspects of the vehicle. For one, the manufacturer was questioned about the similarity of the Vanquish gearbox to that of the Ferrari. The gearbox does not also perform well when it is pushed too hard every time the car is experiencing rough and difficult conditions.
However, Aston Martin resolved this issue with regards to the gearbox by producing another Vanquish model called the Ultimate Edition Vanquish in 2007. The car manufacturer made forty cars installed with the perfect gearbox in order to improve the car's shifting. The company even offered to have this new type of gearbox installed in the previous Vanquish models which have gearbox problems.
Despite the issues that surrounded the Vanquish, its popularity did not go down. The many cars on the road displayed the trademarks of Aston Martin, starting from the extended bonnet which guides the eye to the xenon headlights and the distinctive front grille. The design of Aston Martin was finished off with the side strakes and the distinguishable wheels.
One more endeavor to bring down the dislike of many is the 2005 Vanquish S. It has the ability to reach 240 miles per hour, has 520 horse power, and it can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.7 seconds. Instead of an extra component, all the models of the S series has "Sports Dynamic Pack". The pack is made to enhance the functioning of the vehicle's braking, maneuverability, and steering.
Unfortunately, shortly after the release of the newer version, Aston Martin stopped the production of the Vanquish. Instead, it released the DBS model which was based on the acclaimed and praised DB9 model.
It is believed that Aston Martin will relieve the Vanquish and will even make it better by 2010. But this rumor stays a rumor because of some situation and events that will perhaps make it sadly untrue.
